Christopher Craddock
Senior Managing Director
Mr. Craddock has had a diverse career on Wall Street from trading bonds at Smith Barney to managing alternative portfolios for a private money management firm. He started his career at Gruntal & Co., attaining his series seven license during the start of the equities bear market. He worked with his clients to have them invest in Municipal Bonds and diversify away from tech-heavy portfolios. He then continued on to Smith Barney to work with an investment group helping clients further diversify their bond portfolio in SIV’s, CDO’s and other forms of asset-backed paper. Seeing the change in the market again, Mr. Craddock attained his series 3 license and began his commodities career at a private money management firm dealing in managed futures and alternative investments such as foreign real estate & sovereign bonds.
Mr. Craddock holds a Bachelor’s degree in Physics from SUNY Stony Brook. Wilfred Rodriguez
Managing Director
Mr. Rodriguez has extensive experience in the commodities world which spans over 34 years. He began as a clerk and quickly made partner in 1977 at Floor Broker Associates, where he held a seat at COMEX, the metals exchange. In 1981 he started his own brokerage firm where he traded his own account, executed customer orders for major firms, and managed 12 employees trading Silver, Copper, and Gold. He then managed over 50 employees on the floor of the NYMEX before becoming a manager in the electronic trading department of NYMEX, a position he held for 14 years. He was also a member of the COMEX Floor Committee. In addition, he holds an Accounting Associates Degree from New York Community College.
John G. Craddock
Managing Director Mr. Craddock was manager of NYMEX/COMEX clearing operations. Before that he was manager of COMEX clearing operations. He was elected by the board of directors of the clearing association of COMEX to the position of Assistant Treasurer. He started his career in 1972 as a clearing member firm representative on the floor of the COMEX exchange. His main responsibility was to assure that all trades processed by the firm were cleared on the floor. Previous positions he has held include dividend clerk, clearing clerk, assistant director of compliance at COMEX, compliance investigator in trade audits and reconciliations, and compliance liaison. He was the special assistant to the Senior VP of COMEX operations as well as to the Senior VP of systems and administrations. He has worked closely with the Executive VP and the President of NYMEX/COMEX. He has also worked closely with the infrastructure of the exchanges as well as the board of directors. |
